IAESTE is a non-profit, independent and impartial student exchange organization established at Imperial College in London in 1948 with the initiatives of 10 countries. It continues its activities in approximately 80 countries and provides the exchange of over 4000 intern students every year (For detailed information, http://iaeste.org.tr/).
The Faculty of Engineering at the Turkish-German University will offer its students innovative study programs in Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral categories, which will have the most distinctive unique features in the Turkish university landscape due to their modern curricular design.
Study visits of variable duration (from two-week short stays to 2-semester study periods) at German partner universities will form one of the important components of study at TGU. Students with high performance potential will be awarded scholarships for their study period in Germany within the limits of financial possibilities.
TGU students are given the opportunity to participate in technical projects in industry during their studies, to take part in internships and thus to expand their practical knowledge and skills. The intended close cooperation between TGU and Turkish and German industry will enable our students to acquire soft skills that have gained immense importance in today's modern and complicated working world.
For our Master's and PhD students, the opportunity to conduct research in Turkish and German industrial companies as well as in research institutions in both countries will be among the special advantages that studying at TGU will bring.
